The Larimer County Office on Aging will hold a Veteran’s Forum for Seniors on Wednesday, January 15 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Chilson Senior Center, 700 E. 4th Street in Loveland.
 
A panel of experts will discuss senior Veteran’s benefits and answer questions from the audience. Topics include: aid and attendance, mental health services, housing, and, social services support. To register, call the Office on Aging at 498-7751 by January 13. The event is free. 
 
According to the Larimer County Office on Aging’s Katy Mason it is important to stay up to date on information as new benefits become available and personal needs change, “Last time we held this forum the room was packed. This appears to be an important topic for senior Veterans and their families.” Mason says the age usually considered when you talk about senior benefits for Veterans is 60-plus.
