The Larimer County Youth Conservation Corps empowers youth to become engaged citizens by completing service projects for the environment and community while promoting skill development for personal and professional growth through summer employment.
Amendments to the Larimer County Land Use Code regarding foster animals to be heard by the Larimer County Planning Commission on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 6:30 pm in the Commissioner's hearing room, 1st Floor, Larimer County Courthouse Offices.
Nominations are now open for the Joseph Jabailly Public Health Hero Award. A nominee for this award should be someone who lives or works in Larimer County who has contributed in an extraordinary way to public health or made an outstanding contribution to public health over time.
Larimer County's Agricultural Advisory Board will host its first Educational forum on Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins, 1st floor. Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture John R. Stulp will open the forum. Session topics include the history of water and its use in Colorado; grazing management; weed control; wind and solar use; global climate change; agricultural marketing; agricultural taxes; and, starting an Ag-related business.
