Stay Found at Your Favorite Larimer County Open Spaces

Geo-PDFs allow you to follow along on your smart phone or tablet while you are hiking, biking or riding at select Larimer County Open Space Areas. We've started with maps of our popular open space areas, Horsetooth Mountain and Devil's Backbone, but depending on the feedback we get and the use of these we plan to offer more. You can let us know what you think below.

To use these maps you will need to download an application for your device that reads PDF maps. Larimer County is not responsible for the performance or any issues related to these third party applications. The map files we provide simply can be used with one of these applications. Some applications that provide this service include:

  • Avenza
  • Bing Maps
  • Global Mapper
  • TerraGo Mobile
  1. Download third party application to import maps
  2. Navigate to this webpage on your device
  3. Click on the map links below, when prompted suggest the device use your map application to download the map
  4. Head out to the open space you got the map of. You should see yourself (your device) as a blue dot on the map as you explore the area
