Nature Connection: How to Develop Your Practice
There is growing research showing the benefits of being in Nature. Join Larimer County Volunteer Naturalists to discover some techniques for developing your own practice of attuning your senses to Nature and learn about the recent research which discusses the benefits of connecting with nature.

We'll meet a the Lions Park Open Space picnic pavilion for a short introduction and greeting. Then we'll move to the sandy beach area where we'll practice some sense attunement exercises, including being barefoot. Depending on the group we may move to another area to practice more techniques, and complete the group discussion of what we learn and how to use it.

Participants should bring:
Sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen)
Wear comfortable hiking/walking shoes (closed-toe recommended)
Water
Insect repellant
Snacks
Comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather
Backpack (to carry it all)

Weather dependent.
