CSU ROTC welcomes are new Cadets with a BBQ (at the Pavillion) and a water ops demonstration and competion using rafts (zodiac). Lifeguards are provided. This is in support of the U.S. Army ROTC program at CSU.
Attached is a .jpg of our Risk Management Worksheet. This sheet identifies the hazards and our plan to mitigate the risks.
We will have two lifeguards observing the training at all times with no less than four Cadre in overwatch with direct communication (cell phone) with EMS/Police.
All Cadets with wear an approved floatation device while conducting training and will be screened as a weak, average or strong swimmers. Weak swimmers will be clearly identified by wearing their uniform top inside out.
