The City of Fort Collins Adaptive Recreation Opportunities (ARO) program/ Paralympic Sport Club-Fort Collins will host an adaptive boating clinic for people with disabilities, ages 12+. ARO is collaborating with several agencies to provide adaptive equipment and expertise. The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) from Winterpark will be bringing staff, canoes, adaptive equipment, Community Sailing for Colorado, Ltd. will bring an accessible sailboat to demonstrate to participants and Baby Seal Stand Up Paddle boards will have equipment on hand as well. ARO will provide a motorized safety boat for this event.

We will be having lunch and relaxing at the spectacular and accessible Horsetooth Reservoir South Bay Pavilion. This collaborative event will provide resources and information to individuals about other recreational opportunities through ARO, NSCD, the Community Sailing for Colorado programs and Horsetooth reservoir.
The Horsetooth reservoir South Bay area is ideal for this event. It has a beautiful accessible pavilion and restroom facility with access to the water to launch the boats.
