Horsetooth Mountain Open Space
Access once per week, for 1-2 CPW employees to access Horsetooth Mt Park for black bear hair snag survey. This is identical to what has been requested in 2011, 2012- access for marked vehicle to drive Tower Rd, employee to hike to snare site, check for hair and renew scents. CPW employees will be in uniformed shirts and will coordinate with Lar Co rangers as requested. At this point access to Carter Lake, Ramsay-Shockey and Flatiron is not requested, but these locations may be added to the renewal later in the summer, depending on how the High Park Fire has impacted access in northern Larimer County.
