Transfer Station

Transfer stations are located in outlying areas of the county and are designed to make it easier for local residents to rid themselves of household wastes. The wastes collected at transfer stations are periodically transported to the Larimer County Landfill. For 24-hour information relating to any of the transfer stations listed below, call (970) 498-5770.

Transfer stations cannot accept any large items such as furniture or fencing materials, nor will they accept appliances containing refrigerants. These items are accepted at the Larimer County Landfill.

Checks and credit cards are not accepted at transfer stations. All waste - regardless of size, type or weight, and even if placed in plastic bags - must be completely enclosed with a cover and secured to your vehicle. This policy is strictly enforced. Uncovered loads are charged double fees. Waste from outside of Larimer County is charged two-and-a-half times the in-county fees.
