Larimer County Landfill Offers Ink Cartridge Recycling Program

The use of inkjet and laser cartridges is increasing rapidly. In an effort to place fewer plastics into our landfill, the Solid Waste Department has developed a partnership with AAA Environmental, Inc. to institute a new and exciting program to recycle inkjet and laser jet cartridges.

We are looking for empty printer/fax cartridges in good condition that you, your friends, and/or relatives may be using in your home or office printer/fax machines. If you're currently throwing away your used cartridges, please consider dropping them off instead at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at the Landfill, 5887 S. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, open Tuesdays, and Thursday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We believe this to be an excellent way to clean up our environment and do our part in diverting waste from the landfill and having it put to an alternative use.

Together We Can Make A Difference!
