Mission Statement - Add value to the lives of County citizens by:

  • assisting property owners, applicants and their neighbors in a manner that enables clear choices and pathways to development solutions while building a positive relationship with users of our services;
  • providing complete and accurate information to boards, commissions and the public so that informed decisions are made efficiently and effectively;
  • administering programs, policies, regulations and procedures pertaining to land use and development in a fair and consistent manner which is respectful of time and financial investments by all participants;
