Two victims of house fire in Loveland

On 1/16/14 the Coroner's office was paged to respond to a house fire in Loveland where two decedents were found.  Next of kin has been found and notified.  Autopsies were done.  The victims of the fire were identified as:

1. Hazel PIPER, age 70, white female resident of home.

   Manner of death is ACCIDENT, Cause of death is Inhalation of toxic products of combustion.

2. Harvard Preston THOMAS, age 50, white male resident of home.

   Manner of death is ACCIDENT, Cause of death is Smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.

No further information is available from the Coroner's office at this time.
