Flood Road Work - Larimer County

Larimer County’s Engineering Department has released its weekly Larimer County Flood 2013 Transportation Bulletin showing progress to date on the repair and rebuilding of flood damaged road corridors countywide.
·         Temporary road repairs have begun on Fish Creek Road in Estes Park.
·         The primitive roadways in the CR 43 (Devil’s Gulch Road) and CR 47 corridors continue to be improved. The roads are open for local traffic (credentials required) only on Sundays (all day) and after 5:30 p.m. and before 6:30 a.m. on all other days. All-wheel drive vehicles with higher clearance are still recommended.
·         The process for bridge repair in some areas and installation of temporary structures in other areas in the Big Thompson Canyon is underway.
Information is detailed in the weekly Transportation Bulletin available at the County’s flood page on the Virtual Courthouse at:  http://www.larimer.org/flooding2013/.  Citizens are encouraged to subscribe to the web site to receive information automatically as it is published.
