Larimer Commissioners Announce Finalists for County Manager

The Board of Larimer County Commissioners today announced two  finalists for Larimer County Manager. The Commissioners conducted an internal search that closed on Monday, April 23rd. The  two finalists announced today are:

 

·         Linda Hoffmann - Planning and Building Services Division Director

·         Lorenda Volker - Human Resources Director

 

Board Chair Lew Gaiter III says there were several well-qualified candidates, “Our internal search brought eight original applicants. These two clearly stood out above the rest due to their excellent backgrounds, executive experience, business management, and unique capabilities. “

 

Citizens will have an opportunity to meet the finalists on Monday, May 7th from 6:30-8p.m. at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building Hearing Room, 1st floor, 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins. The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will host the ‘Meet & Greet’ and look for citizen feedback. 

 

Ø  The County’s Senior Management Team will interview finalists on Monday morning May 7th .  .

 

Ø  County’s Elected Officials, exclusive of the BCC,  will interview finalists on Tuesday morning, May 8th. 

 

Ø  The BCC will interview finalists on Wednesday 16th and are expected to name a  new County Manager shortly after.

 

Current County Manager  Frank Lancaster has accepted the position of Town Administrator for Estes Park, Colorado and his last day in office at Larimer County will be May 11, 2012.
