Helping to keep our park clean
Park Situation

 

 FIRE RESTRICTIONS are in place effective April 12th.

  • Campfires are allowed in metal grates only
  • No fires allowed at boat-in campsites
  • Fuel stoves and grills okay (no charcoal)
  • No open flames outside of metal grates (no tiki torches)
  • No smoking outside unless on established roads or parking areas or within a vehicle

2012 Annual permits are available. Daily and Annual Park Permits may be purchased from the front desk of the Department of Natural Resources Administrative Office located at 1800 South County Road 31 or from Rangers in the field.

Self-serve permits are available at the Information Kiosk located at the North Entrance Station.

Water Level

Water levels at this reservoir fluctuate daily.

No boating facilities are available at this reservoir.  All water recreation activities, including but not limited to, swimming, wading, and boating of any type (including belly boats, kick boats, canoes and kayaks) are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.


 


Camping

Camping reservations may now be made 180 days in advance.

Wildlife

Mule Deer and Elk are plentiful this time of year. Please drive carefully as wildlife often gathers near the roads.
