The Office on Aging (the Area Agency on Aging for Larimer County) uses federal Older Americans Act funds in conjunction with state and county funds to develop and implement a comprehensive and coordinated system of services for seniors. The following services are provided directly through the Larimer County Office on Aging (LCOA). For more services funded through the LCOA, please see the funded partners page.
ADRC – Aging and Disability Resources for Colorado
The ADRC is part of the Larimer County Office on Aging and provides information and assistance, options counseling, and help with Long Term Care Medicaid applications. The ADRC serves people age 60+ (or 18+ with a disability).
Chore Voucher Program
The Chore Voucher Program is to provide funding for low-income seniors to pay someone to help them do heavy household chores that they can no longer perform safely on their own.
Family Caregiver Support Program
The Family Caregiver Support Program provides guidance, support, and assistance to individuals who are caring for a loved one 60 years of age or older in the home.
In-Home Services Voucher Program
The In-Home Services Voucher Program provides light housekeeping or some personal care to low-income seniors to help them stay in their home.
Long Term Care Ombudsman Program

The Long Term Care Ombudsman is a trained, experienced professional whose job is to serve as an advocate for residents of nursing facilities and assisted living residences.
Senior Property Tax Work-Off Program
This program allows seniors to temporarily work for Larimer County in order to reduce the burden of their property tax bill. The maximum amount of assistance per household is $400.
