It is up to us to:

  • take care of lands entrusted to us
  • preserve, protect, and enjoy our parklands, wildlife, trails, reservoirs, and open space
  • advocate a safe and enjoyable recreational environment
  • give back to our communities by supporting our parks and open lands

Past and Current Projects

  • Boat Tours
  • Whole Foods CommUnity Day support for our public open spaces
  • Fundraising for the purchase of Hermit Park
  • Cabin improvements and other enhancements at Hermit Park and other Larimer County public lands
  • Informational booth at the annual Northern Colorado Birding Fair
  • Environmental and educational supplies, wildlife viewing equipment, tools, benches, picnic tables
  • Trail building and support, public informational tours and special events
  • Educational speakers at meetings and events
  • Assistance with grand opening ceremonies at open spaces, new trails and parks
  • Assistance with funding and/or grant applications for acquisition of public spaces or enhancements of existing parks and open lands.
