Stakeholders Wanted To Participate in the Development of System to Report Inspection Results to the Public
We're working with Colorado Department of Health and Environment to create a work group to develop a uniform system of communicating health inspection results to the public. The system established must provide meaningful and reasonably detailed information to the public and cannot summarize the results of inspections with a letter, number, symbol or similar simplified method of quantifying results. If you have a vested interest and would like to participate in the development of a system to communicate health inspection results to the public please let us know by completing this form. Thanks for your interest.
To meet the requirements of section 25-4-1607.7 of Colorado’s Food Protection Act, after July 1, 2017 inspection ratings for routine inspections will be reported as Excellent, Good, Fair, Marginal and Unacceptable. Inspections prior to July 1, 2017 will still have the old rating system names and points.
