Larimer County, Colorado Road Naming and Site Addressing Resolution was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners in December 2004, the last revision to the resolution being in January 2007. This document contains procedures to name streets and create street addresses, ensuring consistency.

Accurate addressing ensures that emergency services, such as police, fire, and ambulance, can locate and respond quickly in an emergency, that visitors to a new area can find their way in a timely fashion, and it minimizes the delivery time for postal and private carriers.

In addition, effective November 1, 2021, Larimer County and multiple agencies signed the Fourth Amended Intergovernmental Agreement For The Establishment Of Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority (LETA). In doing so, each entity also agreed to follow the LETA Street Naming and Addressing Standards Agreement.

You can search street name inventory and read about rules and approved suffixes below.
